INNO‑6 Iron Oxyhydroxide (FeOOH)

Iron oxyhydroxide (FeOOH) is classified into α‑FeOOH, β‑FeOOH, γ‑FeOOH and amorphous FeOOH according to different crystal structures. Among these, amorphous FeOOH exhibits the highest desulfurization activity.

Through years of R&D and product upgrading, our company has mastered the production technology for synthesizing FeOOH with various specific surface areas and crystal forms. The product features a specific surface area of ≥75 m²/g and an amorphous FeOOH content of ≥90%. This not only significantly improves sulfur removal performance but also enables the removal of hydrogen sulfide and heavy metals from water.

This product is widely used as a raw material for iron oxide Catalyst. By incorporating various additives, it can be formulated into Catalyst with different sulfur capacities, which are widely applied in the purification of sour gas streams in industries including petroleum refining, natural gas, oilfield associated gas, fertilizer, steel mills, biogas, shale gas and pharmaceuticals. In addition, iron oxyhydroxide can be used in wastewater treatment for the removal of hydrogen sulfide, chromium and arsenic.
