Before adopting our chelated iron catalyst, the plant had tested PDS catalysts from several suppliers.
Due to the frequent use of high‑sulfur coal in coking operations, the H₂S content after the scrubber tower could not be stably controlled within 100 mg/Nm³.
To resolve this issue, after detailed evaluation and comparison, the plant selected our chelated iron catalyst for its higher H₂S removal efficiency, while also effectively addressing waste liquid disposal problems.
Prior to using our products, the plant adopted chelated iron catalyst from another domestic supplier.
After only less than 2 months of operation, the system began to suffer serious issues including blackening of solution, excessive foaming, substantial H₂S breakthrough exceeding limits, and a sharp increase in pressure drop across the desulfurization tower, which severely disrupted normal production.
