Case Study: Chelated Iron vs. PDS sulfur removal catalyst in HPF Process

Based on field application of our chelated iron  catalyst in the HPF process and comparison of operating parameters with PDS catalyst, the following conclusions can be drawn:

Under identical system and process conditions, the H₂S removal efficiency of chelated iron is significantly higher than that of PDS.

The total operating cost using chelated iron catalyst is lower than PDS, with a cost reduction of over 20%.

The substantial reduction of H₂S at the tower outlet and the elimination of waste liquid bring considerable environmental benefits to the plant.
